Help kickstart the Providence Juice Truck!

The embedded link here will take you to Josie and Jay's kickstarter.com page, where you can donate money to the funding of their proposed organic juice truck project. Basically, kickstarter lets funders promise money, but it is pulled from the funder ONLY the entire project gets funded. If they come up short, you keep your cash. Hopefully these guys do get totally funded though. PVD could use more food trucks... do it.

if they can't start it themselves they probably shouldn't do it.

providence get your head out your ass.

That is the most idiotic thing I have read in a while. Enormous quantities of companies start with outside funding.

The idiotic thing is that money is being 'donated' and not 'invested'. If I were going to donate money I would want it to go to a charitable organization, not to two gainfully employed people (albeit very nice people) who want to make smoothies FOR PROFIT.

If it were an investment model that would promise my money back plus (doesn't have to be a big plus) I would have gladly lent a hand.

typical providence. Where DIY means "help me".
an affront to capitalism -- or good capitalists, i can't tell --. send your money to clean Pelicans, it'll way better spent. we don't need any juice, anyway. how 'bout actual food!
