I went to the 1st GRRI event this weekend and was psyched to see lots of familiar faces supporting this pretty cool happening.
It was excellent to see a bunch of people that have not played instruments before get up in front of people after only 3 days of training...with a self written song to boot. I wish they were selling merch. I would totally have bought a Rhodents and Kotex Explosion shirt.

thanks, ryan... though this is sort of embarrassing! but yes, there were a lot of amazing women participating in this event-- a good chunk of the ladies in the local scene took time out of their own lives to help spread the rock to others. it was SO awesome, i can't even describe it.
the campers made so much progress so quickly. they wrote some seriously creative and catchy songs. i think everyone involved (myself included) had an awesome time.
to everyone who supported the event: whether you participated, or you're a local business owner who donated food or other supplies, or you just spread the word to others... thanks.
